www.grindr.com. Grindr (/ˈɡraɪndər/) is a location-based social networking and online dating application for gay, bi, trans, and queer people. It was one of the first geosocial apps for gay men when it launched in March 2009 and has since become the largest and most popular gay mobile app in the world.
Can I be found on Grindr?
The location used by Grindr is more akin to a square on an atlas – not exactly where you are. However, researchers from Kyoto University revealed (2016) that it is still possible to locate users, even if they have disabled their distance on Grindr.
