How many Hummel figurines are there?
As many as twelve different figurines exist with a back stamp of “Beswick – England”—a well-known porcelain manufacturer. These are usually marked with mold numbers 903 to 914. However, when the Beswick company was later bought, no documentation, molds, or references for the Hummel figurines were discovered.
Do Hummel figurines have any value?
Limited-edition Hummel figurines bring higher values than pieces with much larger production runs. Retired figurines—ones that are no longer on the market—command better prices than pieces that are currently in production. A rare Hummel figurine can bring a value of $1000 or more.
Are all Hummel figurines marked?
See the Hummel date stamp chart below; every authentic M.I. Hummel figurine will have a Goebel stamp on its underside. Most of the known marks used over the years are shown here. Nevertheless, from time to time, a rare and undocumented variation may surface.
